Adressen överlämnades vid en fest på Gröna Jägarn, dit även en hel hop svenskar (jag för alltid in judefrågan på dess rätta gebit = det etnografiska!) voro inbjudna på skämd lax och okorkat vin. Vid tillfället överlämnade dagens hjälte under rörelse (se Gråkappan!) en gåva på 20,000 kr. (i Kroppsaktier!) till »Hemmet för fallna gossar av den evangeliska bekännelsen» (alltid ska de fram med bekännelsen!). Jag var med på festen och såg vad jag aldrig sett förr -- Isaac drucken! Han förklarade att han hatade mig och dig och Falk och alla vita -- han kallade oss »vita» och »infödingar» och »_roche_» omväxlande; det sista ordet känner jag icke, men när det uttalades, skockades genast en otalig hop »svarta» omkring oss och sågo så hemska ut, att Isaac tog mig avsides i sidorum. Där bröt han ut: talade om sina lidanden som barn i Klara skola, huru lärare och kamrater misshandlade och tillbakasatte
