Det tilltagande vetandet i klassiska språken gör honom emellertid fräck och obehaglig. Han vågade härom dagen disputera religion med pastorn under ett brädspel, och påstod därvid att kristendomen var uppfunnen av judarna och att alla kristna voro judar. Det är ett fördärv med det där latinet och grekiskan! Jag fruktar att jag fostrat en lindorm vid min skäggiga barm; om så är, så måste kvinnans säd söndertrampa ormens huvud. Adjö! H. B.
