Och det gjorde hon. Ensam i de stora rummen, brast hon i häftig gråt; men det var icke dessa tårar, som likt ett majregn faller på ett gammalt, dammigt hjärta, det var vredens och ondskans etter, som nu fördunklade själens speglar och sedan droppade ner och frätte som syra på hälsans och ungdomens rosor.
