Men då ville olyckan, att Rödluvan, som skrevs av ungt folk, vilka aldrig hört den gamla pseudonymens riktiga namn, behandlade författaren som en nybörjare och uttryckte sin förvåning både över att en författare, första gången han uppträdde, satte ut sitt namn och att därjämte en ung man kunde skriva så torrt och så gammalmodigt.
