Det är jag för rasten också, d. v. s. sansadt och hyggligt som en modern ung man nuförtiden är förälskad (och inte _i er_ utan i genretaflan _med er!_) Det retar mig obeskrifligt att jag inte också kunde vara på torget vid den tiden. Jag känner på mig, att om jag hört er hvissla hade jag ögonblickligen kommit fram till er och viftat med svansen.-- Ja, nu har jag inte mer tid att ge er i dag. Det tar så förskräckligt på hjärnan att skrifva bref till en ung dam inför hvilken man gerna vill hålla illusionen uppe, att hon icke må ana hvilken idiot till och med en annars ganska skapligt begåfvad ung man kan vara--ibland. (Här har ni tillfälle att säga en godtköpskvickhet!)
